The Füri Tech Edge Dimaond fingers easily sharpens and coarse-hones all non-serrated knives. The uniquely-shaped diamond-coated springs automatically hone the cutting edge to the correct profile and edge finish.

Designed by Australian engineers and chefs for professional chefs, the Füri Tech Edge sharpening system does what a sharpening steel or whetstone can't: it maintains a precise 20-degree angle on both sides of the knife blade during sharpening, resulting in a razor-sharp edge. A knife is drawn through three different components in a progression of three stages, from restoring an extremely dulled blade, to coarse honing, to fine honing. Each component quickly inserts and removes from your existing Tech Edge system base.

This Stage 2 Diamond Fingers component replaces a worn one. The unit is comprised of spring-loaded fingers that keep the knife blade accurately positioned while the knife is repeatedly drawn through. A coating of crushed diamonds on the fingers coarsely hones the blade with a minimum of blade removal. To use, simply insert the replacement into the Tech Edge base, where it is held securely, and swipe the knife through the fingers 6-12 times.
